Questionable meals, poor customer service and aged aircraft have landed this airline the title of ‘world’s worst’ for the fourth time.
Air Koryo – the world’s only ‘one-star’ airline – has once again been named the world’s worst after being compared to other superior airlines, particularly those from East Asia.
The list compiled by UK-based Skytax found out of 600 air carriers Air Koryo scored the lowest across a number of factors.

Welcome onboard Air Koryo.
Categories where the airline failed to excel included aircraft efficiency (we’re not surprised seeing as cockpits are still fitted with tech from the 50s); customer service and quality of in-flight meals.

According to Skytax, Air Koryo not only ranked the lowest in all categories but was also the only airline to be handed the one-star rating… again.
On the opposite side of the scale, Qatar Airways was named the world’s best airline during the Skytrax World Airline Awards earlier this year.
Over the last year, the airline has made drastic changes to its business through new aircraft orders and inflight upgrades.
