STA Travel is offering what it has dubbed as the cheapest ever Round the World flights that’ll see holidaymakers travel the world for less than a phone plan.
The youth travel company has true Round the World flights starting from $1,699.

The ticket begins in Australia and takes travellers to major tourism hubs such as Singapore, Manila, London, Oslo, New York and San Francisco.
According to STA, the cheap fare comes after seeing a 22.6 increase in interest from Australian travellers looking to book Round the World trips.
Product Trading and Marketing Director, Andrea Robinson, explained the increase comes as young travellers see the benefits of the extensive ticket such as visiting more countries in less time.

She added that in addition to young Aussies booking Round the World tickets, there’s also a trend of them wanting to squeeze more destinations into a singe holiday.
This is because they’re ‘less rich’ than other demographics and it takes them longer to save for a holiday.
