Vietjet has released 12 million promotional fares across its Vietnam and international network, with one-way all-inclusive Eco fares from Australia to Vietnam from AUD$199.
Australian travellers can now book one-way all-inclusive Eco fares from Australia to Vietnam from AUD$199 (excluding taxes and fees) using the promo code SALE66, as Vietjet rolls out one of its biggest sales of the year.
The fares are valid for travel between 5 September 2026 and 31 March 2027, and the same promotional pricing extends across Vietnam domestic routes. The sale runs until 2am AEST on 8 June 2026.
It lands alongside Vietjet’s continued international expansion: two new services connecting Hanoi with Almaty (Kazakhstan) and Prague (Czech Republic), both launching on 10 October 2026, opening fresh pathways to Europe and Central Asia via Vietnam.
What’s in the sale

Beyond the $199 Eco fares, the mid-2026 promotion includes several discounts across higher cabin classes including:
- 15 per cent off Deluxe fares on the new Hanoi-Prague and Hanoi-Almaty routes with promo code HELLOVIETNAM, valid for travel between 10 October 2026 and 31 March 2027.
- 30 per cent off Deluxe fares with promo code SALE66DLX.
- 20 per cent off SkyBoss and Business fares with promo code VJSALE20.
The Deluxe, SkyBoss and Business discounts apply to travel between 1 June and 31 August 2026. All offers exclude taxes and fees, and travel periods, blackout dates and conditions vary by route.

How Aussies connect to Vietnam and beyond
Vietjet operates direct services from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth to Ho Chi Minh City, feeding connections throughout its network from Vietnam’s largest city.
With Prague and Almaty added to the map, the carrier positions Vietnam as a gateway between the Asia-Pacific and Europe, opening multi-destination itineraries that pair a Vietnam stay with onward Central Asian or European travel, a development Karryon explored when the Hanoi-Prague route was unveiled as a fresh option for Australians.

Vietnam remains one of the strongest growth markets for Australian outbound travel, having recently overtaken Indonesia as Australians’ top Asian destination, and with cost-of-living pressures still shaping holiday decisions, the airline is leaning on value to drive demand.
KARRYON UNPACKS: Vietnam continues to climb the list of Australia’s favourite outbound destinations, and a $199 lead-in fare with a near year-long sale window gives sellers a ready hook for budget-conscious clients. The new Hanoi links to Prague and Almaty add an angle worth flagging for travellers who want to bolt a European or Central Asian leg onto a Vietnam holiday.
