As the official AFL airline and sponsor of the AFL Mark of the Year award, Virgin Australia is allowing Aussies to claim the title of Australia’s ‘ultimate’ Mark and score a bargain in its latest network sale.

Selected by a combination of committee and public votes, the Virgin Australia AFL Mark of the Year is an annual recognition of a player who performs the best mark of the season aka a high-flying catch where a player leaps above others to secure the ball.

While the Virgin Australia AFL Mark of the Year award traditionally celebrates the AFL season’s best mark, this year, everyday Aussies can also claim the title.
