Virgin Australia is building its relationship with travel agents and enticing them to sell more of its air products, with the launch of a new incentive club.
In an email sent out to travel agent partners this week, Virgin Australia announced its new ‘Aviators Club’, which allows agents to earn points on select bookings.
Dubbed as an ‘exclusive online auction rewards experience’, agents earn points by selling and ticketing flights on Virgin Australia (795) ticket stock between 21 May and 8 July 2015.
The more flights agents ticket, the more points they can earn to bid on items.
Auctions will be held weekly and feature various prizes.
The airline will be releasing great auctions weekly, so keep checking in.
‘Auctions in the Spotlight’ this week, include ‘Beats by Dre’ headphones, a coffee machine, iPhone, kettle and toaster plus a Sony camera.
To enter, agents visit the aviatorsclub.virginaustralia.com and sign up using unique work email address.
There they can enter the PNRs with OSI details to record their booking and receive points.
Points will be added to accounts the following business day by 3.00pm.
And agents that sign up by 27 May 2015 will go in the running to win 100 double movie passes.
Last month, Virgin Australia was named the most seductive workpace in the country for the second time.
The airline received the nod for the first time in 2011.
According to Geraldine Chin Moody, Group Executive, People, Culture and Sustainability Virgin Australia, it’s the people at Virgin that make it a positive place to work.
