A multi-layered retail & entertainment complex with the USA’s first indoor snow park AND the world’s steepest roller coaster – it’s the American Dream!

No, literally, the revolutionary space is called ‘American Dream’ and it’s opening in New Jersey later this year.

Fashion, luxury retail, casual dining and unexpected attractions will come together at the “one-of-a-kind destination” that is designed to satisfy travellers and locals from all walks of life.

Located across from New Jersey’s Meadowlands Sports Complex, American Dream will house dozens of high-end and affordable retail stores from Saks Fifth Avenue, Barneys New York, Tiffany & Co., Watches of Switzerland, Hermès, Zara, H&M, Uniqlo and more.

Those looking beyond a shopping experience can look forward to diverse dining options featuring cuisines from South America, Asia, Italy, the Mediterranean, as well as others.

Of course, then there’s the ‘unexpected attractions’ such as Big SNOW – North America’s first indoor snow park!

The attraction will allow travellers to experience a New York winter year-round with temperatures inside kept at a cool 26°F (- 3 Degrees Celsius).

American Dream will also be home to the largest indoor water park in North America – DreamWorks Water Park – where visitors can find the world’s steepest roller coaster.

If that doesn’t sound like enough reason to check out New Jersey, the complex will also have an ice-skating rink, performing arts theatre, a luxury movie theatre, observation wheel overlooking Manhattan, Legoland Discovery Center, Climbzone and an 18-hole miniature golf course.

The President of American Dream, Don Ghermezian, said the use of entertainment and experiential elements will raise the bar for retail experiences.

“Guests will experience something completely unique each time they visit–this project will be the realization of their wildest dreams.”

American Dream will open in stages throughout 2019 and 2020. It’s expected to attract 20 million US residents and 65 million tourists every year.
