High-end small group tour operator Luxury Gold has relaunched for a “new era of travel”, promising more personalised and luxurious holidays than ever before.

Part of The Travel Corporation’s (TTC) family of brands, Luxury Gold now offers 30 small group tours to “the world’s most sought after places, all with the finest end-to-end travel experience”, the brand stated.

Luxury Gold’s new branding comes in a “refined champagne and caviar colour palette”.

In unveiling its new brand, the boutique tour company said there would be massive growth and demand in the luxury travel industry, citing “multiple sources”.

And Australians will play a major role in luxury travel’s growth, it predicts.

Pointing to a global wealth report that shows Aussies to be among the wealthiest people in the world, the tour operator said travel would remain a priority among high earners.

“It’s clear that affluent travellers intend on travelling in 2023 and are looking to book those once-in-a-lifetime tours that include all the luxury and ease of a high-end travel experience,” Luxury Gold managing irector Australia and New Zealand Toni Ambler said.

“We’re excited for Luxury Gold to meet this demand, offering a refined and immersive travel experience in a small group setting.

“With the relaunch of Luxury Gold, travellers will have an elevated travel experience, with magnificent stays, exceptional dining, and curated experiences.”

More than passport stamps

The brand describes the Luxury Gold experience as a series of Passport Moments, promising “travellers more than just destination stamps in their passport, but a collection of magnificent experiences to create memories of a lifetime”.

To this end, guests will stay in high-end hotels like Belmond and Red Carnation plus boutique properties like Ireland’s Ashford Castle and the Lion Sands Game Reserve in Kruger National Park, South Africa.

They will also have access to experiences like the Jaipur City Palace for afternoon tea and the Doge’s Palace in Venice for a private tour.

Some itineraries will also include “exclusive meet and greets” curated by Luxury Gold founder, the late Stanley Tollman, that include interactions with “European nobility, legendary locals and celebrated icons in historic sites or ancestral homes”.
