Find a trusted travel pro: ATIA launches TravelTick to help Aussies book with confidence

The Australian Travel Industry Association (ATIA) has launched TravelTick - a national online directory designed to connect consumers with trusted, ATIA-accredited travel professionals.

The Australian Travel Industry Association (ATIA) has launched TravelTick – a national online directory designed to connect consumers with trusted, ATIA-accredited travel professionals.

Exclusively available to accredited businesses, the new platform showcases operator credentials, services and specialisations, driving direct enquiries from travel-ready Aussies.

With more than 120,000 consumers visiting ATIA’s digital channels over the past year, the appetite for trusted advice is growing.

According to ATIA, TravelTick answers that demand, helping Australians book with confidence while reinforcing the value of accreditation.

All accredited businesses have been auto-loaded to the directory and can now customise their listings with photos, bios and niche expertise.

A full how-to guide is available in the member centre on the association’s website.

ATIA says TravelTick is a key step in elevating visibility, credibility and consumer trust.

“TravelTick gives the industry and searching consumers what they’ve been asking for – a simple, trusted way to find qualified travel professionals,” ATIA CEO Dean Long says.

“We know that making it easier to find an accredited agent or tour operator is what our members want us to do.

“This is about positioning our members as the most credible, consumer-ready providers in the market.

“In light of recent non-accredited businesses entering insolvency it has never been more important to make it easier for people to find our members.”

Long says members and consumers can look forward to more features being added to the directory.

“We’re continuing to deliver practical tools that connect travellers to accredited businesses, grow enquiries, and elevate the industry as a whole,” he states.

“We have a planned, progressive rollout of new features that will make this a leading source of information for the trade and consumers.

“ATIA is focused on delivering results for our members. TravelTick puts their business in front of consumers and drives real opportunities straight to their inbox.”
