Disneyland Resort in California is celebrating a milestone for Aussie fans – Bluey and Bingo have arrived for the first time at a Disney park – for real life.
“Bluey’s Best Day Ever!” debuted over the weekend in Fantasyland Theatre, marking the first live experience based on the globally acclaimed animated series to feature at a Disney park.
The interactive show invites families to laugh, dance and play together, capturing the heart and humour that has made Bluey a worldwide sensation.
The event is part of Disneyland Resort’s 70th celebration, honouring seven decades of ‘The Happiest Place on Earth’, and transforms the theatre into the grounds of Bluey’s school.

Guests can join in games like Keepy Uppy, race Barky Boats, explore the Fairy Garden and Gnome Village, and hop on Bluey’s helicopter stump for pretend adventures.
And of course, Bluey and Bingo appear live at set times alongside a troupe of performers, musicians and beloved characters such as Chattermax, Unicorse and a group of Grannies, bringing familiar stories to life with new musical arrangements.
The experience is complemented by themed food, beverages and merchandise. Highlights include a US$5.99 kids’ meal combo, plus a mud cake cold brew and baked potato dish inspired by the episode Pizza Girls.

Disney says there’ll also be plenty of photo opportunities, from posing with Bluey’s family car to joining in a school class photo.
Additional merchandise, including youth apparel and collectible pins, is available at select Disneyland Resort stores.
Ludo Studio, the Aussie creators of the hit show, collaborated closely with Disney on the production, ensuring authenticity and fan engagement. And Disney says the debut underscores its commitment to global partnerships and innovative storytelling, presenting an Australian cultural icon in a first-of-its-kind live format to an international audience.

Families can make the most of a visit with a Kids’ Summer Ticket Offer, allowing children aged 3–9 to access Disneyland Resort for $50 per day, plus savings on multi-day passes and hotel stays.
In November 2024, the “Bluey’s World” real-life experience debuted in Brisbane. Read about that here.
