1. Sunny escape to the Gold Coast

If your clients are looking for a sunny domestic escape then they’ll get a few ideas from Infinity Holidays’ Gold Coast brochure.

Made up of 61 pages, the program features a new ‘Family Recipe’ genre page that showcases the Gold Coast as a great family destination.

There are a number of new tours, including Ocean Jet Boating and there is also a handful of new hotels across the coast from Surfers, to Broadbeach and up into the hinterland with O’Reilly’s Rainforest Retreat.

 

2. Themed sailings with Silversea

Silversea Expeditions has released its 2015/16 series of themed expedition voyages crafted to suit personal interests and ensure authentic experiences for guests.

The five themes provide a variety of activities specific to: health and wellness; culinary discovery; birding; diving; and photography.

These voyages are led by a team of experts, including Expedition leaders, nutritionists, culinary specialists, marine biologists and other field experts.

Among the expeditions is the culinary theme, which invites Silversea Expeditions’ exclusive series of culinary themed voyages aboard Silver Explorer provide guests with the opportunity for passionate connoisseurs to travel an epicurean journey through Europe, discovering authentic tastes and fine delicacies.

There’s also the birding theme for keen bird watches. Sailing on Silver Galapagos, Silver Explorer and Silver Discoverer guests cruise to the remote Galapagos, Alaska, New Zealand’s Sub-Antarctic and the Russian Far East to observe a multitude of exotic species.

 

3. Travelmarvel does Tassie

Travelmarvel is going after growing travel to Tasmania, with four itineraries five- to- 10-day itineraries to the Australian destination.

Available in the Tasmania 2015/16 brochure, Travelmarvel’s ‘Taste of Tasmania’ Insider Experiences are a dominant theme throughout every itinerary, with guests on tours that commence in Launceston enjoying an exclusive welcome reception drinks and canapés at the Design Centre of Tasmania before enjoying a special welcome dinner.

Other food-inspired Insider Experiences on the program include a special Tasmanian tasting plate at Tall Timbers in Smithton; a waterside dinner at the historic Customs House Hotel Restaurant in Hobart; a buffet dinner at View 42° in Strahan; a Gordon River luncheon cruise; a feature breakfast at the Best Western Plus in Launceston; a lavender-inspired food tasting at the Bridestowe Lavender Farm; and the chance to sample the wares at House of Anvers Chocolates.

Travelmarvel is offering special stays at superior accommodation, all with easy access to the best sights of Tasmania. Highlights include alpine retreat, Cradle Mountain Hotel; Tall Timbers in Smithton; and the Tudor-style Fox and Hounds Inn in Port Arthur.

Most popular tour is the 10-Day Grand Tasman which circumnavigates the Island from Launceston via Ross, Port Arthur, Hobart, Strahan, Cradle Mountain and Smithton. Priced from $3,095 it includes a guided tour of Beaconsfield Mine; the chance to explore Freycinet National Park with a naturalist guide; a cruise around the Isle of the Dead; a sightseeing tour of Hobart, including a visit to Salamanca Market; and a Gordon River cruise with a tour of Sarah Island.

 

4. Take on Central Aus with the Kings

AAT Kings is bringing central Australia to life with the release of its 2015/16 Alice Springs Day Tours brochure, which includes the new Nocturnal Animal Discovery evening tour and full-day West MacDonnell Ranges tour.

The new Nocturnal Animal Discovery evening tour at Alice Springs Desert Park is perfect for night owls who want to experience the magic of the desert under starlight.

An AAT Kings expert guide will take guests on a wildlife walking adventure through the foothills of the MacDonnell Ranges, to discover what rare native animals are hiding in the dark.

Another experience on offer is AAT King’s full day tour to the West MacDonnell Ranges. Guests won’t need to be a geologist to appreciate the stunning landscape –guests will be awe-struck as they take a walk along the stony watercourse of Standley Chasm, visit the spectacular Ellery Creek Big Hole waterhole and Ochre Pits sacred site, and witness the rugged scenery of Ormiston Gorge.

Having worked up an appetite the next stop is a traditional Ploughman’s lunch at Glen Helen Resort, and then the adventure continues at the famous towering cliffs of Simpsons Gap.

On top of the two new offerings, guests can also enjoy popular AAT Kings tours including the half-day A Town Like Alice tour and full-day Palm Valley Outback Safari by 4WD and Kings Canyon & Outback Panoramas tours.

 

5. Going around the world with Crystal

For the first time in Crystal Cruises’ history, Crystal Symphony and Crystal Serenity will each embark on World Cruises in 2018 – offering travelers four separate global itineraries aboard the award-winning ships.

The concurrent world cruise routes for 2018 begin in January, with both ships simultaneously arriving in Sydney on 17 February.

This rare meeting allows the exciting opportunity to combine the itineraries of the two ships, as guests can switch vessels for a new odyssey.

Ranging from 97 to 129 days, the innovative voyages will travel to a combined 111 destinations in 45 countries, featuring 16 maiden calls and 50 overnights. During the ship’s rendezvous in Sydney, full World Cruise guests will be treated to a spectacular gala celebration.

Crystal’s 2018 World Cruise collection includes Crystal Symphony’s first full World Cruise since 2003; Crystal Serenity’s 15th global expedition; and the unprecedented ability to begin on Crystal Symphony then switch to Crystal Serenity in Sydney for a journey through Asia, India, and Holy Land; or set sail on Crystal Serenity before joining Crystal Symphony in Sydney for a South Pacific route to Miami.
