Cairns Travel Expo returns: Plan, connect and WIN

Cairns is rolling out the travel welcome mat once again. After an extended break, the Cairns Travel Expo is back, set to return on February 15, 2025. Hosted by TravelManagers’ Kellie Grace and Patty Poutanen, the event will run from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Brothers Leagues Club. It promises to reconnect local travellers and industry professionals with a wide range of global travel opportunities.

Hosted by TravelManagers’ Kellie Grace and Patty Poutanen, the event will run from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Brothers Leagues Club. It promises to reconnect local travellers and industry professionals with a wide range of global travel opportunities.

“We’ve listened closely to our customers’ feedback, and they’ve been eagerly awaiting the return of a face-to-face travel expo, so we are incredibly excited to bring this much-anticipated Travel Expo back to Cairns,” says Kellie Grace.

The event will feature over 25 travel suppliers, providing direct access to experts from airlines, cruise lines, tour companies, and more.

What attendees can expect

The Cairns Travel Expo aims to offer attendees clear insights and information about a variety of travel options. From luxury cruises to rail journeys and international tours, the event covers a broad spectrum of travel experiences.

Airlines on board

Major carriers like Cathay Pacific, Fiji Airways, and Singapore Airlines will be present to discuss flight options, new routes, and exclusive deals.

Cruising options

Representatives from Coral Expeditions and MSC Cruises will showcase opportunities for ocean voyages, while Avalon Waterways will highlight the appeal of river cruising.

Land and rail travel

Attendees can also learn about diverse land-based travel opportunities, including cultural tours with Bunnik Tours, guided group trips with Trafalgar and Insight Vacations, and tailored experiences with Inside Japan and Solo-ish. Rail enthusiasts will find inspiration from Journey Beyond, operators of iconic routes like The Ghan and Indian Pacific.

Tourism boards

Local insights will be provided by Samoa Tourism, while Cairns Airport will share updates on connectivity and regional opportunities.
