Á LA CARTE TRAVEL? Globus unveils a personalised tour style called 'Cosmos Lite'

The Globus family of brands is shaking things up with a new á la carte tour style called 'Cosmos Lite' that comes with a more personalised approach to travel itineraries.

The Globus family of brands is shaking things up with a new á la carte tour style called ‘Cosmos Lite’ that comes with a more personalised approach to travel itineraries.

Unveiled this week, Cosmos Lite allows travellers to tailor an existing itinerary so that the trip not only meets their interest but their budget and their pace.

The first 10 itineraries are available for travel in 2019, each of which comes with city-to-city transportation in deluxe motor coaches (with wi-fi), comfortable hotels, daily breakfast, a tour director, access to the CosmosGo app, plus optional MyCosmos excursions.

A highlight of the initial itineraries is the combination of major cities with lesser-known destinations, such as the union of Valencia with Barcelona and Madrid on the nine-day ‘Spanish City Explorer’, and Marina di Cecina with Milan and Rome on the eight-day ‘Italian Explorer’.

Globus family of brands’ Managing Director for Australasia, Gai Tyrrell, said Cosmos Lite gets travellers to their destination, coordinates their accommodation but gives them the option on how to fill their day.

“Free of commitments and full of possibilities, Cosmos Lite’s á la carte touring invites travellers to design each day with free time, me time or see time.”

“A Cosmos Lite vacation gives autonomy back to the traveller to fill their days according to their specific interests, passions and budget – without having to stress about the itinerary fundamentals like transport and accommodation that we take care of for their ease, comfort and discovery.”
