Calling all travel agents. Rail Plus has launched a special incentive, giving you the chance to win flights and rail to Canada.
One lucky agent will receive $5,000 towards two return tickets to Canada, along with a free journey on VIA Rail’s ‘The Canadian’ between Vancouver and Toronto in the train’s new Prestige Class.
Prestige Class is the company’s new class and allows travellers to enjoy the scenery in a spacious cabin.
The room also comes with personalised service, large windows, a private bathroom with a shower, flat screen TV and minibar.
It’s practically a hotel room on a train.
Additionally, the winner will receive one night’s accommodation in Vancouver and two nights in Toronto.
The winning agent can choose to start ‘The Canadian’ trip in either Toronto or Vancouver.
They’ll from the two large cities and pass through Saskatoon, Jasper, Winnipeg and Edmonton.
To be in the running to win, you need to book any journey on VIA Rail’s ‘The Canadian’ through Rail Plus before 17 March 2015.
Then piece together a creative response to the following question: ‘In 25 words of less, why do you want to go to Canada?’.
