Travellers on a budget are the next market Helen Wong’s Tours is hoping to capture with its new comfortable yet cost-conscious tours through Vietnam.

Unveiled this week is the operator’s new budget-friendly 12-day Highlights of Vietnam trip featuring all the must-do Vietnam sights, comfortable properties and flights with an affordable price tag.

Speaking about the new product, Helen Wong’s Tours Managing Director and Founder, Helen Wong, said the modestly-priced tour emerged out of demand from previous clients.

“[We received] requests from consumers for a comprehensive itinerary at an affordable price with more flexibility to dine in restaurants of their choice on their own each evening.”

She continued, saying that the operator found a way to offer clients everything they could possibly want in a convenient and enjoyable tour at a much cheaper cost.

So what does this new tour look like?

Well, for around $2,400 per person, twin share (around $5,000 a couple) travellers will fly with Vietnam Airlines from either Sydney or Melbourne to Hanoi.

From there, all ground transport will be covered by the operator along with nine nights accommodation in four-star hotels, daily breakfast, most lunches and an English-speaking guide.

Throughout the 12-day journey, guests will tick off a number of Vietnam must-do-and-see activities such as cruising along Halong Bay, visiting the former capital of Hue, stopping by UNESCO World Heritage-list Hoi An, exploring the Cu Chi Tunnels and more.
