ON A BUDGET: On The Go Tours adjusts trips for money-conscious travellers

On The Go Tours joins Wendy Wu Tours and Helen Wong Tours as the latest operator to launch Budget-friendly trips designed to meet demand from value-conscious travellers.

On The Go Tours joins Wendy Wu Tours and Helen Wong Tours as the latest operator to launch Budget-friendly trips designed to meet demand from value-conscious travellers.

The tour operator’s General Manager Australia, Natalie James, said the new ‘Budget Tours’ give those travelling on a shoestring the chance to travel with the comfort and security of a guide.

A maximum of 40 people can fit on a ‘Budget’ trip, which helps guests save money by reducing touring costs with fewer pre-planned activities, such as group dinners.

Natalie said the cut down on itinerary features also allows travellers to have more control over the activities they want to do and the places they want to eat.

“There is a new generation of travellers emerging that want the best value; they want certain activities organised but plenty of free time to explore and dine independently.”

“We saw an opportunity to offer a product to those travellers who were wanting to do our tours but are budget sensitive and want to be in control of their spending,” Natalie added.

“We believe some guests have a more immersive experience when they have ample time to explore on their own.”
