Rail Europe has followed through with plans to juice up its packages by allowing passengers to purchase sightseeing tours & airport transfers alongside their rail passes.

Rail Europe has followed through with plans to juice up its packages by allowing passengers to purchase sightseeing tours & airport transfers alongside their rail passes.

The announcement was made by Rail Europe this week, less than four months after the product expansion was first revealed by President and Chief Executive Dau-Khoi Nguyen.

Sightseeing passes and airport transfers are now available for Agents to offer their clients, including a Samurai lesson in Kyoto and a Northern Lights tour in Anchorage. Travellers can also add private transfers between train stations in London and an Italian cooking class in Cinque Terre, and more.

Speaking to media in Sydney earlier this year, Nguyen said introducing museum and transfer options would better improve the quality of service for customers and trade partners, as well as meet demand for varying travel packages.

“When people come to us, we want them to experience different factors.”

The travel brand’s expansion was made possible through a new partnership with online attraction booking site, VIATOR.

VIATOR products are instant purchases and are delivered as e-tickets. Consultants can only book them through the VIATOR website and import them into their booking.

Good news! Although it’s an online booking site, all products ARE COMMISSIONABLE with the nett amount shown during the booking process.
