Young music enthusiasts have the chance to party with one of America’s biggest rock bands at the UK’s largest summer party while remaining in the comfort & safety of a tour group.

Contiki confirmed today that it’s bringing Contiki Sounds back for 2019, which for those who don’t know, are tours revolved around major music events.

Following on from last year’s sell-out success that saw dozens of young people get ‘turnt’ up at the UK’s Reading Festival with the likes of Fall out Boy, Post Malone, and Kendrick Lamar, Contiki has revealed it’s returning to the major UK party this year with two new itineraries.

Party people can choose from one of two Contiki Sounds trips – the seven-day journey departing from London and ticking off Bristol, Bath, and Oxford before reaching the main Reading festival event OR the 10-day itinerary departing from London and visiting York, Cambridge, Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham, Bristol and Bath before heading to the gates of Reading Festival.

Whichever travellers choose to book, they’ll receive a VIP festival experience that includes tickets to the hottest festival in Europe, drop off at the festival gates, pre-erected premium tents in the best location with air mattresses and sleeping bags, as well as hot breakfast every morning.

Other VIP highlights include posh toilets and private hot showers with access to hair straighteners and hair dryers, unlimited use of phone charging station, 24-hour staffed reception and a Contiki Trip Manager on-site for all festival days.

Contiki Australia’s Managing Director, Katrina Barry, said the brand is always looking for new ways to innovate its experiences and believes this trip will offer travellers a “unique way to combine their passions of travel and music in one great trip experience”.

The Reading Festival line-up for 2019 includes legendary rockers the Foo Fighters and The 1975, as well as Charli XCX, Post Malone and more.
