Luxury cruise and tour company APT has joined forces with Opera Australia on their National Tour across the country. The partnership will see APT host an incredible Opera in The Kimberley later this year.
APT Director, Robert McGeary said as proud patrons of the arts the relationship was a natural fit.
“With both companies carefully curating cultural experiences, the synergies between the two create the perfect partnership,” he said.
Opera Australia’s CEO Mr Rory Jeffes reiterated said APT’s support ensured Opera Australia could “continue to deliver world-class cultural encounters beyond the big cities, giving the joy of opera and music-making to everyone throughout Australia”.
APT will be hosting the Opera in the Kimberley series, two exclusive performances, held at Cathedral Gorge, in the heart of the Bungle Bungle Ranges on the 8 and 9 of September 2019.
Two of Australia’s finest opera singers will perform within the Purnululu National Park, a World Heritage listed area of Western Australia.
Surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty in this truly unique location, APT guests on either the 15-day Kimberley Complete tour (departing 5,6 and 7 Sept) or the 9-day El Questro, Gorges and Purnululu itinerary (departing 8 September), will be treated to this once off special event.
