Platinum’s rapid growth – 36.8% YOY, up from 33% in the 2016-17 financial year – made the move an immediate priority for company Directors Andrew Buerckner, Carl Buerckner and Sarah Szubanski.

“We’re thrilled to celebrate Platinum’s ongoing success with the staff and suppliers who’ve made it all possible,” Platinum Director, Andrew Buerckner said.

“Our new office reflects the values and attitudes that underpin our business and operations: it’s a spacious, dynamic space that promotes health, wellness and a genuine love of travel for staff and clients alike.”

A proud Magellan agent, Platinum is a prime example of the growth potential Helloworld Travel Limited CEO and Managing Director, Andrew Burnes, saw in the Magellan Travel Group ahead of its acquisition by the travel giant in March.

Burnes attended Platinum’s opening function last Thursday evening alongside Magellan General Manager, Andrew Macfarlane; a long-time supporter of Platinum Travel Corporation.

“Platinum is an integral member of Magellan, and understands as well as any of us what it takes to grow a successful travel business. I’m incredibly happy for Andrew, Sarah, Carl and the team,” Macfarlane said.

Platinum will officially welcome a Bendigo branch to the fold on July 1, 2018; in line with its expansion plans for the 2018-19 financial year.
