This could be the coolest musical lineup for AIME ever

AIME [Asia-Pacific Incentives and Meetings Expo] is really turning on the musical charm this year, booking big names to perform at the two-day event.

AIME [Asia-Pacific Incentives and Meetings Expo] is really turning on the musical charm this year, booking big names to perform at the two-day event.

Taking place on 24 February to 25 February at the Melbourne Conference and Exhibition Centre, this year the two hour ‘Australia Speaks’ slot will feature 22 of Australia’s most renowned influential speakers and performers.

Among them include Ita Buttrose who will discuss media; professional surfer Layne Beachley has been recruited to lead up conversations about sport; while Mark Bouris will join Rod McGeoch, Gary Pert and Steve Vamos to discuss business.

The two hour program will be hosted by Australian journalist and TV presenter, Mike Munro.

Meanwhile as part of AIME history, guests will also be treated to musical performances from soul singer Darren Percival, beatbox phenomenon Tom Thum, singer-songwriter and INXS frontman Ciaran Gribbin, and award winning vocalists Anthony Callea and Tim Campbell .

Following the event, audience members will be invited to attend a networking after-party, where they will have the chance to meet and speak with the presenters.

INXS frontman Ciaran Gribbin will perform.

Other speakers include Satyajit Das and Chris Caton for economics; Rachel Botsman, Megan Quinn, Craig Davis and Remo Giuffre for innovation; Graeme Joy and Tim Cope will talk about exploration; Michael Carr-Gregg will discuss health; Gill Hicks represents peace activism; and Vinh Giang is onboard for illusion.

Australia Speaks will be held on Tuesday 24 February from 5.15pm to 7.30pm at the Plenary 3, Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. Tickets are available to purchase online for the cost of $89 per person, inclusive of entry to AIME, champagne on arrival, a commemorative gift and entry to the Movers and Shakers after party at the brand new Community Hub.
