Home-based agency group, Travel Counsellors, is going after the growing business travel market, with a new sub-brand dedicated to supporting the company’s corporate travel agents.

Home-based agency group, Travel Counsellors, is going after the growing business travel market, with a new sub-brand dedicated to supporting the company’s corporate travel agents.

‘Travel Counsellors for Business’ includes the launch of a new website for its Business Travel Counsellors and new marketing material.

There will also be a series of training programs developed for leisure travellers looking for the right tools to expand their business into corporate travel.

According to the agency group, business travel currently makes up 25 percent of its global turnover. That’s 15 percent more than last year – making it the fastest growing sector.

Additionally, 20 percent of its agents specialise in corporate travel – a figure the company expects to have ‘substantial’ growth over the next three- to- five-years.

Business Travel Counsellor Coff Harbour, Tracy Dodsworth said the new sub-brand would not only support agents, but give Travel Counsellors a ‘distinctive identity that corporate clients can relate to’.
