Next year’s Independent Travel Group (ITG) Business Forum will be held in San Fransisco, between 10 and 13 November 2016.
The announcement, which was made by Express Travel Group today, follows a hugely successful Business Forum in Singapore over the weekend. Two possible destinations for the event were hinted at during an awards dinner on Saturday night, with Ho Chi Minh joining San Fransisco as possible candidates.
However, San Francisco came out on top.
According to Ari Magoutis, Executive GM at Express Travel Group, San Fransisco was a clear winner:
“Following a successful weekend in Singapore with so many committed members and partners in attendance and based on the crowd reaction from Saturday night, it is our members’ destination of choice for 2016. The West Coast of USA and in particular San Francisco is an important hub for many of our members and their customers as well as partners who service this terrific destination, which should also open up some unique pre and post experiences for our members.”

Over 200 agents are expected to attend next year’s ITG Business Forum in San Fransisco.
