It’s your last chance to vote for your favourite luxury and experiential businesses, as the closing date for nominations in the inaugural Luxperience Awards nears.
Exhibitors and buyers attending Luxperience 2015 now have until 17 July to nominate for the awards and until 20 July to prepare award submissions – click here for more information.
The awards, taking place at the annual event, acknowledge excellence in the development and promotion of the finest products that the luxury travel industry has to offer.
Entries will be judged by an esteemed panel of travel industry experts including Michelle Papas, Director of Marketing at Luxperience; Mark Magennis, Managing Director of Decorative Events and Exhibitions; Melinda O’Rourke, Founder and Director of MO Luxury; Susan Borham, Editor-in-Chief of Luxury Travel Magazine; Emma Scott, Creative Director at Tiny Hunter; and Jeremy Francis, Manager, Brand Connections at Virgin Australia.
The judges are in for a difficult time as there has already been a strong response to the Awards with some impressive submissions already received.
There are three awards for buyers and three for suppliers, under the themes of Inspiring, Meaningful and Connections.
The Inspiring Award recognises one buyer and one supplier that best demonstrates excellence in the planning and development of innovative products and services, acknowledging entrepreneurial vision, market leadership and uniqueness.
The Meaningful Award pays tribute to a buyer and a supplier that contributes to a greater understanding of history, heritage and culture, incorporating elements such as sense of community, experiential tourism or social responsibility within their program or product.
The Connections Award recognises a successful e-marketing campaign, both from the buyer and supplier sides, which effectively connects with key target markets within the luxury or high end experiential travel space.
In addition to these six awards, Luxperience will recognise a visionary tourism office which has influenced the development of luxury and experiential tourism within their country or region.
Winners will be announced in front of over 500 guests at the Luxperience Gala Dinner and Awards Evening, taking place on 8 September 2015 on the rooftop of The Star, Sydney.
The invitation-only business forum is the only one of its kind based in the Australasia and Pacific region that connects the world’s most exclusive travel providers dealing in luxury and experiential travel.
