TFE Hotels is bringing MICE planning and booking into the 21st century with the launch of the first booking engine for the events industry.
Unveiled this week, the next-generation technology gives event planners the freedom to search, book and pay function space, drink and food menus plus accommodation whenever and wherever.
Up until now, planners have had to contact sales representatives to organise all of the above, which offers personal interaction but is a little less convenient for those on the run.
It doesn’t just benefit event organisers, is also offers TFE centralised control over its MICE bookings and inventory functions.
Customers also have the ability to add packages for specific date ranges, yielding revenue for the properties.
The launch comes after a six-month trial and according the CEO of iVvy, the technology company TFE partnered with the launch the product, it offers travellers ‘the fastest way to manage revenues across all of their channels’.
“People can work in real time, getting what they want, where they want it, at a time that they want it.”
Lauren Hall, iVvy CEO
TFE Hotels Group Director of Marketing, Emma Fraser, added that the process supports everyone across the booking journey from planners, users and TFE’s teams.
The iVvy partnership will encompass all TFE Hotels brands including Adina Apartment Hotels, Medina Serviced Apartments, Rendezvous Hotels, Vibe Hotels, Travelodge Hotels and properties falling under the TFE Collections portfolio, including Hotel Kurrajong Canberra.
