Lisa Hobbs is the CEO of Dedes Group providing strategic direction and structure to the various venues within Dedes Waterfront Group.
In her role Lisa is responsible for the day to day activities and work programs of the various venues including oversight of all HR, supplier management, issue resolution, marketing, policy/procedure implementation and overall compliance of the venues with the various laws and regulations.
Lisa went from being senior manager at Credit Suisse to take a chance on a small family business that has since grown into a much larger, successful one.
Giovanna Lever has had an impressive career to date. She started out freelancing during uni to the hair and beauty industry, picking up clients including Australian Hairdressing Awards and Toni and Guy.
She has spent the past 15 years working in sports marketing and sponsorship roles including Australian Rugby Union and Rugby World Cup 2003, FMCG PR, tourism and travel and most recently in hotels leading the commercial marketing team for the opening of the InterContinental Sydney Double Bay.
In her career planning she even managed to include a catering business and two kids. She is about to embark on her next career adventure which she says is all part of the plan.
