The next few years are going to be HUGE and these updates are giving your clients even more reason to cruise with P&O.

The new announcements include more school holiday itineraries, more interconnecting family rooms, more departures from Brisbane, and more departures from Cairns.

 

1. Biggest Ever Choice of School Holiday Itineraries & Cabin Configurations

A record number of families will sail with P&O Cruises when Pacific Adventure joins the fleet next year with exciting attractions including Adventure’s dual-racing waterslide – the ‘Twin Racer’ – and a pool that is an integral part of a new family-dedicated entertainment area.

Pacific Adventure will offer the greatest choice of accommodation options in P&O’s history with new five- berth family cabins and a record number of interconnecting rooms.

P&O’s latest program includes the greatest choice of school holiday cruises to date with a range of itineraries departing July 2021 to January 2022.

2. Pacific Encounter which will call Brisbane Home in 2021

P&O Cruises has revealed its 3000-guest ship Pacific Encounter will be based in Brisbane from November 2021 providing Queenslanders with the first opportunity to cruise from their doorstep on the line’s newest ship to call Australia home.

The new 2021 summer program of itineraries will see Pacific Encounter offer 11 cruises until January 2022 including dedicated itineraries to the South Pacific Islands and Queensland coastal destinations.

P&O Cruises President Sture Myrmell said Pacific Encounter’s new Brisbane home was the next exciting chapter in Queensland’s hugely successful cruise story which has seen the cruise line base ships from the city since 2009.

 

3. Pacific Explorer to be Based in Cairns for Short Season in New 2021 Program

P&O Cruises’ 2500-guest Pacific Explorer will be based in Cairns for a summer season of four cruises in 2021 including a unique 10-night itinerary to the Solomon Islands and Papua New Guinea.

With the season beginning on November 9, 2021, guests can also enjoy three dedicated cruises to the colourful, cultural and tropical paradise of PNG calling at Alotau, Kitava Island, Rabaul, Kiriwina Island and the Conflict Islands.

The series of cruises will give Northern Queensland guests a wealth of onboard features including the two longest and wildest waterslides on an Australian-based cruise ship along with an action-packed waterpark.

P&O Cruises President Sture Myrmell said Pacific Explorer’s four-cruise series from Cairns was a chance for Northern Queenslanders to experience P&O’s modern cruise product and a wide variety of dining and entertainment options that offered something for everyone.
