Former Australian Governor-General Sir Peter Cosgrove to host APT cruises in 2025

The former Australian Governor-General and retired Chief of the Australian Defence Force, Sir Peter Cosgrove will host a series of APT expedition cruises in 2025.

The former Australian Governor-General and retired Chief of the Australian Defence Force, Sir Peter Cosgrove will host a series of APT expedition cruises in 2025.

While onboard, Sir Peter will conduct a series of hosted dinners as well as present several lectures.

Drawing on his extensive military and vice-regal experience, he will discuss various topics, including the history of both World Wars, as well as provide his unique insights on the world of geopolitics.

The trips include a visit to Greenland’s Ittoqqortoormiit, one of the most remote settlements on Earth, and the Kimberley (main image), where guests can explore Montgomery Reef by Zodiac and experience the natural wonder of King George Falls.

Cruises will be onboard Seabourn’s ultra-luxurious small ships, the Seabourn Pursuit and the Seabourn Venture which have a dedicated 24-person expedition team who will take guests via Zodiac to dramatic cliffs of Iceland and the ancient waterways of the Kimberley.
