Sydneysiders saw double yesterday when Azamara sister ships Onward and Pursuit cruised into Sydney Harbour on 19 February 2025, docking simultaneously for the first time in the boutique cruise line’s history.
The arrival of Azamara Pursuit and Azamara Onward in Sydney was a visual event for guests and locals alike. Onward led the way while Pursuit treated guests and onlookers to a 360-degree twirl.
This rare dual visit is expected to enhance Azamara’s reputation among travellers seeking unique destinations, longer stays and more overnight experiences.
The historic moment also underlined Azamara’s commitment to the Australian and New Zealand cruise market with two boutique ships sailing Down Under with nearly full bookings this season.
