Work & Wander: Azamara launches new workcation at sea packages

In an era where work-from-home has seamlessly transitioned to work-from-anywhere, Azamara's latest initiative, the 'Work & Wander' program, is a game-changer for business professionals dreaming of a workcation at sea.

In an era where work-from-home has seamlessly transitioned to work-from-anywhere, Azamara’s latest initiative, the ‘Work & Wander’ program, is a game-changer for business professionals dreaming of a workcation at sea.

With the integration of Starlink’s high-speed internet earlier this year, Azamara has taken a giant workcation leap forward, ensuring that guests won’t just enjoy uninterrupted ocean views but also continuous connectivity.

Azmara says the new ‘Work and Wander’ program is designed to meet the demands of the modern professional who craves a balance between productivity and adventure.

For US$399 (AU$614) per guest or US$249 (AU$383) per suite guest, Azamara will provide a comprehensive work setup, including a monitor, mouse, keyboard, and all the necessary adapters, along with high-speed internet for the duration of the cruise.

Should any technical questions arise, there’s also a Guest Relations desk available around the clock to ensure a smooth IT experience, reinforcing the program’s commitment to seamless service.

“We are excited to introduce our ‘Work & Wander’ package, allowing professionals to take their work with them as they set sail,” said Carol Cabezas, President of Azamara.

“Our guests already consider our ships to be a home away from home, and now our ships can be their floating office too.”

Equipment Ease and Extended Stays

Guests can check out their office equipment from the Guest Relations desk, holding onto it for the entirety of their voyage. This ease of access is paralleled by the Extended Destination Days feature, offering over 10 hours in each port.

Azamara says this will allow guests to immerse themselves in local cultures and experiences, striking a balance between their professional lives and wanderlust.

The program also includes curated onboard gatherings and happy hours, where like-minded professionals can network against the setting sun and the rhythmic post-work lull of the waves.

Azamara’s 17-night Australia and New Zealand Word and Wander Cruise on board the Azamara Journey will depart on January 4, 2024, from Melbourne from $4,614 per person.
