CLIA LIVE is expanding. Cruise Lines International Association’s (CLIA Australasia) travel advisor training program will head to eight cities across Australia and New Zealand in 2025, including new venues, Christchurch and the Gold Coast.

The two regions will join existing venues Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, Auckland and Sydney on the event calendar, with dates confirmed and tickets available to CLIA members from 2 December 2024.

CLIA Australasia’s expanded 2025 series will feature the theme, “Connecting Travellers to their Perfect Cruise Holiday”.

The two-day seminars provide an opportunity for both new and seasoned travel agents to explore the latest products and initiatives from leading ocean, river and expedition cruise lines.

So whether you’re a cruise newbie or a seasoned pro, CLIA Australasia says CLIA LIVE has something for you.

“CLIA LIVE allows agents to hear from multiple cruise lines in the one place at the one time, helping them to learn more about each operator and stay up-to-date on their latest initiatives,” CLIA Australasia Director of Membership & Events Marita Nosic said.

“This year’s CLIA LIVE will give agents a deeper understanding of how to match clients with their ideal cruise, based on their personal preferences, budget and travelling style.

“It will also provide strategies for highlighting the value and unique experiences each cruise line offers, helping agents to build excitement and trust with clients.”
