To cut a long story short, cruise ships are crazy!

They’re packed with so many things many of us wouldn’t even consider trying on land, that’s they’ve practically become their own destinations.

Despite the variety of existing activities and entertainment options, cruise lines continue to find new and exciting features to pile onto their ginormous vessels, the latest being Royal Caribbean.

The cruise line known for ‘chasing the sun’ has announced that it’s bringing trampolines, Escape Room challenges and laser tag onto one of its ships.

Mhmm, trampolines.

Yes, Loki Hiddleston, it is madness, in the coolest possible way.

The three new features will be added to Independence of the Seas’ as part of her multi-million dollar makeover, which is scheduled for April next year.

Although further details weren’t provided on the new areas, one would assume that the trampoline park would be similar to ones around Australia where a number of trampolines connect along the ground to form one large jumping zone.

During Independence of the Seas‘ bow-to-stern makeover she’ll also receive water slides and other imaginative features similar to those found on the cruise line’s existing ships.

Independence of the Seas belongs to Royal Caribbean’s Freedom Class, dividing her homeport between Southampton, UK and Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
