Emerald Cruises’ second luxury yacht Emerald Sakara has completed sea trials and is en route from the Vietnam shipyard to the Mediterranean to embark on her debut season, starting with an eight-day cruise from Athens to Rome on 5 August 2023.

Emerald Sakara is the second luxe yacht in the Emerald Cruises fleet, joining identical sister yacht Emerald Azzurra, which launched in March 2022.

Both yachts feature just 50 luxury suites and staterooms, 88 per cent of which have a private balcony or terrace.

With a maximum of 100 guests and 76 crew, Emerald Sakara offers an exclusive cruising experience, exploring ports and harbours only accessible to small yachts.

Onboard features include an open-air infinity pool and lounge area, a wellness deck and a top-deck Sky Bar.

Guests can take advantage of watersports equipment from SUPs to SEABOBs on the marina platform and several dining and bar spaces.

After Emerald Sakara’s August debut, the yacht will sail in Italy, Greece, Türkiye and the Adriatic.

Then both Emerald Sakara and Emerald Azzurra will cruise the Caribbean and Central America from November 2023 to March 2024.

The new yacht will be christened on 2 December in San Juan, Puerto Rico by godmother and CLIA President & CEO Kelly Craighead.
