Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) hosted its Travel Marketing Summit in Australia on board the Norwegian Spirit this week – and Karryon got an exclusive look at the special event.
Partnering with some of the Aussie travel industry’s leading marketing minds, NCL used the initiative to support its own marketing efforts and to invite clients to “Think NCL” for international cruising.
In attendance were senior delegates from Flight Centre, FCTG Independent, Helloworld, Travellers Choice, Hunter Travel Group, Phil Hoffmann Travel, Creative Cruising, and RAA Travel among many others.

During the event, NCL marketing director APAC Michelle Wiederman and NCL trade marketing manager APAC Jacinta Baker hosted bespoke sessions, which aimed to give cruise and travel industry leaders the tools to market Norwegian Cruise Line.
The sessions also covered some of the cruise line’s most popular destinations including Europe, Asia, Hawaii and Alaska.
In addition to this, those in attendance took part in a fun paint and sip-style NCL advertising creative session.

Norwegian also hosted a three-course lunch in Windows restaurant on board the Spirit, a cocktail hour in Spice H2O, and a guided tour of the impressive vessel.

Karryon also visited the Spirit upon its arrival in Sydney in December, which marked NCL’s long-awaited return to Australia after a three-year absence.
