Virgin Voyages has expanded its Chief Celebration Officer Jennifer Lopez’s role to a virtual version, creating Jen AI to allow cruisers to create a custom invite that uses JLo’s augmented reality likeness.
After many travellers pressed pause on their celebrations over the past few years, this ‘next-Jeneration’ invite allows JLo to personally invite fans and fellow travellers to book a Virgin Voyages cruise for that special event.
As JLo said: “It’s so important to me that we stop and take time to celebrate special moments in our lives and encourage others to do the same. If the last few years have taught us anything, it’s how important it is to cherish life’s special moments with your inner circle.”
So Jen AI is entering the chat. Travellers can create a custom invite from Jennifer Lopez – a figure Virgin Voyages believes no one can resist – that taps into the fun of AR.

Travellers can activate the new Jen AI tool online. After answering a few questions, your emailed personalised invitation is ready to share with your crew.
The adults-only Virgin Voyages cruise line has three Lady Ships currently sailing on 40-plus itineraries to 100 ports.
