No men allowed! There’s a new concept floating around the internet for a ship that is either incredibly sexist or pure genius.
Luxury designer, Lidia Bersani says the idea for her new luxury mega yacht came after she noticed a gap in the superyacht market for vessels that cater to women, and women only.
That’s when she put pen to paper and created the world’s first female only yacht.
La Belle has Swarovski chandeliers and gemstones.
As you’d imagine the vessel is feminine. Very feminine. One might even say (and one in the KarryOn office actually did say) that the vessel looks like the Kardashian women had words with the interior designer to create an upper class, over-the-top ship.
If you need more of a description, here are the details planned for La Belle.
La Belle will have a fitness centre, spa and sauna.
She will be a 12-passenger vessel carrying guests in six deluxe cabins, Daily Mail reported.
She will be painted in white and gold on the outside. Inside she will be decorated with gold mosaics, pearls and Swarovski crystal chandeliers (did you know some MSC ships have Swarovski crystal stairs #justFYI).
The yacht will have venues for live entertainment.
Designs on the inside will also include gold, fur, crystal and don’t forget the flowers! Guests will also find gemstones throughout the ship and bespoke wooden furniture.
La Belle’s designer Bersani said she’ll be a ‘distinctive Bersani Style’ yacht.
“[The] Yacht is in distinctive Bersani Style, romantic and warm. The colors in white, ivory and gold are predominant. Interior is full of opulent and comfortable elements.”

The yacht will have one master cabin with a king size double bed, private terrace, thick curtains and floral carpeting.
For entertainment, La Belle will have lounges, dining places, rooms for live music, a hydromassage pool, sauna, infrared sauna, snow room and ice fountains.
This is the type of opulence I picture Brooke Candy rapping about in her hit ‘Opulence’.
There’ll also be an outdoor Jacuzzi, fitness club, library, beauty centre, disco club, cinema and theatre.
While many solo females may enjoy a ship that targets them, we’re wondering how the growing number of male solo cruisers will feel about being excluded. Perhaps a yacht for singles only would have been more inclusive?
