NCL drops first 50 new APAC 2027-28 season cruises with more ports in this holiday hotspot

Norwegian Cruise Line’s (NCL) first 50 new voyages of the upcoming 2027-28 Asia-Pacific summer season are now open for bookings, featuring almost 70 ports of call, including 22 across Japan alone, upping visits to this perennially popular destination for Australian holidaymakers.

Norwegian Cruise Line’s (NCL) first 50 new voyages of the upcoming 2027-28 Asia-Pacific summer season are now open for bookings, featuring almost 70 ports of call, including 22 across Japan alone, upping visits to this perennially popular destination for Australian holidaymakers.

The APAC 2027-28 season initial drop also includes trending destinations, such as Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines and Hawai’i, alongside close-to-home cruises in Australia and New Zealand.

Voyages range from seven- to 21-day journeys with extended port stays and 54 overnights, including NCL’s first-ever call to Esperance and an overnight in Fremantle in WA.

The line’s 2027-28 APAC deployment will have three ships in the region. Norwegian Jade returns to Asia from October 2027 to April 2028 with a series of nine- to 17-day roundtrip and open-jaw itineraries from Tokyo and Yokohama, Japan; Incheon, South Korea; Hong Kong and Singapore.

This season includes more than 20 distinct calls across Japan, such as Hirara (Miyakojima) Naha (Okinawa), Hakodate, Kagoshima, Akita, Sendai, Aomori and others, plus an overnight in Kobe.

Norwegian Spirit will mark her fifth consecutive season in Australia and New Zealand between December 2027 and April 2028, homeporting in Sydney, Singapore and Auckland and sailing on eight- to 21-day itineraries.

Pride of America will continue to offer the only seven-day interisland cruise to four Hawaiian islands from Honolulu, now available to book through to March 2028.

Norwegian Cruise Line APAC Vice President & Managing Director Ben Angell said the 2027-28 season is all about choice, discovery and flexibility close to home with more deployment reveals to come.

“With three ships, eight departure ports and nearly 50 itineraries, we’re expanding the ways guests can cruise across Asia, Australia, New Zealand and slightly further afield to Hawai’i,” he said.
