Norwegian Cruise Line has introduced its NCL Just Cruise fare – a cruise-only option for Australia and New Zealand that’s designed to let cruisers pay for what they value most and empower advisors with an easy-to-sell flexible fare with upsell opportunities.

The new NCL Just Cruise fare is a streamlined cruise-only fare with the option for travellers to add the inclusive ‘Free at Sea’ bundle.

The new structure gives advisors an easier-to-sell fare that boosts upsell opportunities and conversion rates for NCL cruises with clear differentiation between the base fare and optional upgrades. Advisors can also earn commission on Free at Sea.

NCL APAC Senior Director of Sales Strategy & Operations Damian Borg said the new structure makes selling NCL easier and more appealing to a wider range of customers.

The model aligns with broader travel trends favouring modular, build-your-own holiday experiences.

“Agents can now lead with the Just Cruise price and then easily step guests up through Free at Sea, which includes the best beverage package at sea,” he said.

“From there, guests can opt for Free at Sea Plus, delivering exceptional value and commission opportunities. We are confident this simplified model, combined with a clearer value story, gives agents a more compelling way to position NCL in the market.”
