Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) has shared a first look at the upcoming 21st ship in its fleet, Norwegian Luna, reflecting the latest Prima Plus Class evolution for elevated Caribbean cruising with even more onboard space and amenities and now available to book for 2026 voyages.
Designed as a sister ship to Norwegian Aqua (due for delivery in March 2025), the two Prima Plus Class vessels currently under construction by Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri will offer 10 per cent more capacity and size compared to Norwegian Prima and Norwegian Viva.
Norwegian Luna will kick off her inaugural season, sailing round-trip from Miami from 4 April to November 2026 on two Western Caribbean itineraries and a seven-day Eastern Caribbean cruise that includes NCL’s private Bahamian island, Great Stirrup Cay.

NCL President David J. Herrera said the all-new Norwegian Luna is “inspired by the relationship between the moon and the tides of the ocean” and features a 322m hull artwork titled La Luna by Californian street artist ELLE.
What do we know about what’s on board Norwegian Luna so far?

Mirroring the upscale design and structure of Norwegian Aqua, Norwegian Luna’s standout onboard amenities include the Aqua Slidecoaster and Glow Court digital sports complex and nightclub along with The Drop 10-storey slide and Stadium space.
The new ship will also feature all-new luxurious Three-Bedroom Duplex Haven Suites, Ocean Boulevard wraparound walkway, adults-only Vibe Beach Club and Infinity Beach.

Prima Plus Class dining experiences include Sukhothai Thai specialty restaurant and the Indulge Food Hall along with many other specialty and complimentary bars, lounges and restaurant options. More guest experiences will be revealed in 2025.

NCL Asia-Pacific Vice President & Managing Director Ben Angell said: “Norwegian Luna is the second vessel in our acclaimed Prima Plus Class, offering everything Australian cruisers love – more space to relax, diverse dining options, upscale health and wellness facilities and world-class entertainment venues.”
