Celebrity Solstice will have a sister down under from 2020 when Celebrity Cruises sends Celebrity Eclipse to Victoria for a four-month homeport.
Announced this morning, Celebrity Eclipse will arrive in Melbourne fresh from a multi-million dollar makeover on 23 December 2020 where she’ll host various cruises during the 2020/2021 summer season.
The 2,850-passenger ship’s Australian itineraries will include seven eight-to-14 might roundtrips to the South Pacific, New Zealand, Queensland, Tasmania and South Australia.
The cruise ship will also offer two one-way 11-night sailings between Melbourne and Auckland, as well as a 19-night cruise from Melbourne to Honolulu via Tahiti on 4 April 2021.
In addition to experiencing ‘celebrity’ port itineraries, Aussies will be among the first to test out Eclipse’s AU$700 million renovation, which includes fresh accommodation, a new culinary programme, advanced technology, modernised public spaces and more.
