Carnival New Zealand’s team are celebrating after taking out the Best Cruise Operator award at the Travel Agents Association of New Zealand (TAANZ) Travel Industry Awards 2015 gala evening.
Receiving the award in Auckland on Friday, Carnival New Zealand Key Account Manager Belinda Clark said the award was a wonderful tribute to the cruise operator’s team, as well as New Zealand’s strong network of supportive travel agents.
“We can’t thank the travel agents of New Zealand enough for this award and for all their hard work – they are wonderful advocates for cruising and huge supporters of our cruise lines.”

The Carnival New Zealand team oversees four cruise brands including P&O Cruises, Princess Cruises, Cunard and P&O Cruises World Cruising.
This year’s TAANZ event spanned 21 award categories with nominees selected based on New Zealand travel agents’ recommendations. The Best Cruise Operator award was sponsored by Cruise Portal/Tabs on Travel.
Carnival New Zealand Business Development Manager Andy Bruce was also a finalist in the category for BDM of the Year.
