'Anytime, anywhere': Princess Cruises serves up 3 new table service formats fleetwide

Cruisers now have more choices on board Princess Cruises with revamped food and beverage options allowing ‘anytime, anywhere’ dining, according to personal preference, with three new table service formats available in separate spaces fleetwide.

Cruisers now have more choices on board Princess Cruises with revamped food and beverage options allowing ‘anytime, anywhere’ dining, according to personal preference, with three new table service formats available in separate spaces fleetwide.

Diners can select traditional, reservable or ‘walk-in anytime’ individualised table service at dedicated dining rooms.

One room is dedicated to traditional dining with early and late seating every evening, one will offer reserved dining times and the other has open seating to support walk-ins anytime.

The three table service options tie-in with the MedallionClass OceanNow delivery on-demand service where guests can order anything anytime and receive it anywhere on board.

The new approach will launch on Princess voyages departing from 14 September 2024 with main dining reservations cancelled for those cruises. Main dining reservations through to 13 September 2024 are not affected.

From 17 June, guests can pre-book via the Princess app for traditional seating in a dedicated dining room with the same waiter, table and same time each night, or choose flexible dining for dinner at any available time and table size in either the reservable or open seating rooms.

The change does not affect specialty dining restaurant bookings or guests in suite and reserve collection accommodations, who have a dedicated dining room without required reservations.

The fleetwide dining revolution follows its successful implementation on Princess Cruises’ newest ship, Sun Princess.

Princess Cruises Vice President of Food & Beverage Sami Kohen said: “Our guests have been delighted with the dining flexibility aboard Sun Princess and we’re pleased to extend the concept to all the other ships in our fleet.”
