Award-winning travel agency, Bicton Travel held its annual Cruise Expo this weekend featuring dozens of cruise products and a sneak peek of what it’s like to fly in Qatar’s Business Class.
Held in the historic B-Shed, Victoria Quay, Fremantle, the event saw a record number of cruise lines in attendance – more than 40 – who assisted the public in finding the right cruise for their next holiday.
West Australians from far and wide braved the poor weather, with record crowds queuing prior to the 10.00am opening.
Bookings and deposits made on the day indicate demand is stronger than ever from the public of Western Australia.
As well as learning about cruise product, attendees were also able to given the chance to experience Business Class flying with Qatar Airways.
Expo guests were able to try out the seat for comfort, lie flat and test the functioning in-flight entertainment.

Bicton Travel’s Sales and Marketing Manager, Barry Downs, added that based on feedback and bookings on the day it was clear that ‘West Australians are hungry for their next adventure at sea’.
