Record-breaker: NCL celebrates a wave-making booking month in November

Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) is cresting on a wave of firsts, reporting a record-breaking day, week and month in November propelled by a historic booking day, the company’s biggest-ever sales week and Black Friday and Cyber Monday activity.

Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) is cresting on a wave of firsts, reporting a record-breaking day, week and month in November propelled by a historic booking day, the company’s biggest-ever sales week and Black Friday and Cyber Monday activity.

NCL recorded its best booking week for the week ending 25 November. This includes the biggest booking day in the cruise line’s history (25 November) and a sales-topping Cyber Monday (28 November).

Norwegian Prima also recently scooped several awards, including recognition for elevated design with the Best Public Space Award at the Cruise Ship Interiors Expo in the UK.

NCL’s latest ship is a large hybrid vessel with small-ship amenities and the first of six ships in the ground-breaking Prima Class.

Debuting in Northern Europe in September, she embarked on Caribbean cruises in October and November.

NCL President & CEO Harry Sommer said the record-breaking November sales demonstrate strong momentum with unparalleled bookings across the fleet.

“This achievement is even more impressive as November is historically one of the slower booking months for our business,” he said.

“After the launch of our groundbreaking Norwegian Prima, which has received numerous accolades, we are on our way to a banner year. I’m very excited about 2023 and all that is yet to come.”
