Finding it difficult to distinguish between the numerous Viking Cruises river vessels? Aren’t completely aware of the distinguishable features aboard the line’s ocean product? And struggling to find the Viking difference in itineraries?
Viking Cruises is hoping to make it a little easier for Travel Agents in Australia and New Zealand to familiarise themselves and sell its extensive catalogue of cruises through its first locally dedicated Agent Portal.
Launched today, the Viking Travel Agent Portal gives consultants direct access to a range of tools to help them learn and sell river and ocean trips, including current offers, documents for each destination, an image library of images, webinars and training tools, as well as downloadable marketing material.
The cruise line’s Managing Director in Australia and New Zealand, Michelle Black, the online portal aims to make it easier and faster for consultants to sell its cruises and according to an early test, it does exactly that.

Travel Agents who jump ‘onboard’ and register for the Agent Portal before 1 December 2017 will automatically go in the running to win an eight-night Chateaux, Rivers and Wine river cruise for two. The winning consultant and their plus one will be sailing on the 20 October 2018 departure
Viking’s online registration process requires the IATA number for accredited Viking travel agencies registered in Viking’s booking system Evolution. If an agency is not signed up with Evolution yet, please email au.agents@vikingcruises.com.
