Less than seven months until P&O’s two new ships officially join the fleet, the cruise line is giving cruise fans a little sneak peek of what to expect onboard.
If you think you know what it means to sail with P&O, then think again.
The cruise line has completely revamped its look and feel onboard, with modern furnishings, new luxe bars, plush private dining and spacious rooms.
In an effort to take Australian cruising to the next level, new offerings on Pacific Aria and Pacific Eden will surprise you.
Here’s what you can expect on Australia’s two new ships when they arrive in November:
The Blue Room
Creating a New Orleans-style jazz space, the Blue Room is decorated with rich velvet and chrome furnishings and plays everything from funk to Blues and Jazz to RnB.
P&O says it will be the live music hub and the ‘it’ hangout for cruisers.
Ocean Bar
For a relaxed setting, with a view, guests can enjoy a quick snack or drink at the Ocean Bar.
Fitted with comfy chaise lounges and a homely vibe providing the perfect mood to while away the days at sea.
The Penthouse
Relaxation and privacy doesn’t get much better than P&O’s most spacious rooms – the Penthouse suites.
Expected to redefine Australian cruise luxury, the rooms will be fitted with large spa baths, walk-in wardrobes and floor-to-ceiling glass windows opening onto expansive private balconies.
Chef’s Table
Both ships will offer an exquisite private dining room with the Chef’s Table – a decadent degustation already popular on the existing three-ship fleet – now enjoying a luxurious setting befitting the extravagant experience.
Adults-only area
Sends the kids away and enjoy some quality outdoor time amongst other adults.
The cruise line has introduced a contemporary new to the Oasis adults-only area featuring hanging chairs and private day beds with sheer curtains overlooking the ships’ wakes.
Pacific Aria and Pacific Eden will emerge from dry dock in Singapore in November and will be welcomed into the P&O Cruises’ fleet during a five-ship spectacular on Sydney Harbour on 25 November.
