APT Travel Group’s newest river ship MS Estrela will debut in June 2024. The vessel is custom-built to sail on Portugal’s Douro River and designed with Australian, New Zealand and UK cruisers in mind.
The new APT Travel Group river ship, MS Estrela, will host guests on APT and Travelmarvel cruises from June to October 2024 with different itineraries and inclusions for each brand.
The 120-guest small ship was designed to reflect the landscapes of the Douro Valley and a modern Southern European ambience.
MS Estrela’s onboard features include a sun deck with an outdoor bar, golf-putting green and one of the largest swimming pools on the Douro River.
Staterooms include an ensuite bathroom, flatscreen TVs and free Wi-Fi, while balcony suites have electric slide-down windows that open to a French balcony.
The new ship follows the launch of three Travelmarvel ships, Polaris, Capella and Vega, currently cruising the Rhine, Main and Danube rivers.
