Royal Caribbean International has announced the Godmother of Utopia of the Seas will be award-winning popstar Meghan Trainor, who will name the newest ship and perform live on a three-night celebration ahead of the vessel’s official 19 July debut in Port Canaveral (Orlando).
Dubbed ‘Godmother of the World’s Biggest Weekend’, Trainor and Royal Caribbean will name Utopia of the Seas in front of special guests, crew members, media, partners and 52 lucky fans – one for each weekend of the year.
“It’s an incredible honour to join the Royal Caribbean family as godmother of Utopia of the Seas and set the tone for the parties to come,” Trainor said.

Utopia of the Seas is the first ship of her kind to offer three-night weekend and four-night weekday getaways, including Royal Caribbean’s Perfect Day at CocoCay in The Bahamas.
