The Proclaimers may have promised to walk 500 miles, but the travel advisors who participated in Norwegian Cruise Line’s (NCL) Walk for Wellness Challenge this year outpaced them in an effort to prioritise their well-being.
During the pandemic years, there was a lot of doom and gloom, and looking after our well-being was obviously crucial, but now that borders have opened, events are back, and travel demand is strong, many travel advisors are working around the clock to make their clients’ dreams come true.
Burnout is real, and taking the time to care for ourselves needs to continue to be a priority. Thanks to NCL’s third Walk for Wellness Challenge, travel advisors were encouraged to do just that… and were rewarded with the cruise line’s highest-value prize pool yet.

“With over 1,000 participants, it’s been wonderful to share the journey and step alongside you, either virtually or in person, this past month,” the cruise line said.
“Whether you were walking during your lunch break, on a BDM-hosted walk, or around your neighbourhood, everyone is truly a winner for prioritising their wellbeing!“
