WOW! New ships, new dining experiences, new activities and now Owen Wilson as the company's celebrity ambassador.

WOW! New ships, new dining experiences, new activities and now Owen Wilson as the company’s celebrity ambassador.

The Australian cruise line has teamed up with the Wilson brother to help promote its two newest ships – Pacific Aria and Pacific Eden – in the local market.

The comedic actor famed for his roles in Meet the Parents, Wedding Crashers and more, filmed three short films for the cruise line as part of a series called ‘The Conspicuous Awakening of Owen Wilson’.

Part one and two were released today and as you’d expect they’re completely HILARIOUS.

The first clip runs for three minutes and sees Wilson awakening on the lap of a ‘strange’ Australian woman inside P&O’s ‘Blue Room’. Shocked by his surroundings, a waiter hands him a ‘phenomenal’ cocktail on cue and then the clip jumps into dream-line flashbacks of his time onboard.

The video brilliantly captures a few of the experiences on P&O’s vessels from specialty dining as well as lazing in and by the pool.

Check out Part One ‘The Earthling’ below:

Part two titled ‘The Wetsuit’ sees Wilson ‘lose it’ in a spacey wetsuit. Convinced his holiday on the P&O ship is a dream he again wakes in the presence of a beautiful woman but this time he’s floating inside the ship’s pool.

Just as the first film, the second clip flashes another sequence of flashbacks in which Wilson sports a Captain’s hat and enjoys food at P&O’s Pan-Asian inspired Dragon Lady restaurant.

Watch it below:

P&O Cruises Head of Marketing and Distribution, Simon Cheng said the cruise line was thrilled to have Wilson channel his inner ‘cruiseling’ and showcase the ‘remarkable features’ aboard the newer vessels.

“We wanted the right star – someone easy going and lots of fun, just like the experience Pacific Aria and Pacific Eden will offer. In Owen we found our perfect partner.”

The third and final film will be released tomorrow.

Meanwhile, P&O’s two new ships will arrive on Sydney Harbour on 25 November.
