Crystal Cruises has unveiled its new ‘Referral Program’, an initiative designed to reward guests who introduce their friends and family (and anyone who they think would just love a luxury cruise) to Crystal. And who doesn’t love to get something for just sharing an experience – and a reward that surely beats a $20 supermarket voucher?
For every confirmed ‘new to Crystal’ guest, referring customers will receive five per cent off their next cruise fare, while the new guest will receive the same discount (and that’s a big saving for a high-end cruise).
“As an example, that would be $1,000 off the fare of a $20,000 cruise for new guests and $1,000 for you to put towards the sailing of your choice or use as an “As You Wish” on-board credit,” the cruise line says on its website.
To sweeten the deal, Crystal says there is no limit to the number of guests one can refer so savings “are endless”.
“We are delighted to introduce this referral program that celebrates the enduring loyalty of our guests,” says Marett Taylor, Chief Sales Officer at Abercrombie & Kent Travel Group, which owns and operates Crystal.
“We believe that the joy of cruising is best shared with friends, and this opportunity not only rewards our guests for their referrals but also extends the warm embrace of the Crystal family to new travellers.”

In February, Crystal announced the return of themed ocean cruises in 2024, a limited-time Explorer Fare with up to 20 per cent savings on 2025 itineraries and an extension for the Suite Dreams upgrade offer on 2024 voyages.
